We’re closing shop
Kris and I have been discussing for the past month and a half what we want to do.
The loss of our beloved Faroh, coupled with the death of Java’s mother Banjo, adding Isaac and Bright last year — and we’re just emotionally worn out.
We’ve decided to call it a day and be done. Our hearts just aren’t in it anymore. We’ve had a great run - we’ve put some fantastic babies on the ground, had some wonderful memories, plenty of success, and we’ve managed to maintain our sense of humor, dignity, and integrity through the 12 years we’ve been in business. But we’re going to close up shop.
We don’t have a lot of stock to move, and the truth is, we don’t HAVE to sell any of them, but it seems silly to hold onto something that someone else might be interested in using - so we’re putting our broodmares on the market. Prices are firm unless otherwise noted. See each mare’s individual page for photos and information.
We don’t plan on selling all five of these mares. We want to keep a couple to ride for our own pleasure, so the list is limited to the first two that go.
Gotta Spendit. 2003 ApHC mare. Spendthrift daughter out of a JC mare. Loud Color! Started Under saddle. $3500 firm.
GW Champagne Palida. 1997 ApHC mare. Amber champagne with blanket and roaning. Saddle broke. Nationally qualified games and cross country in Pony Club C-3 level. Nice mare. Outproduces herself. Old QH cow bloodlines. $7000 (I know, I know. The truth is, I don’t really want to sell her.)
Spend It Quick. 2001 ApHC mare. 16.3 hand Spendthrift daughter. Minimal Color. Saddle broke and show experienced. $5000 negotiable.
Tonkaboutsensational. 2001 ApHC mare. 16 hand Sunbeach Honkytonk daughter. Bay with small blanket. National ApHC points in HIH mares. Started under saddle. $3500 negotiable.
Kiss Me Silly. 2007 ApHC mare. Sweet tempered and easy to work with. Outstanding English prospect. Sire is 17 hand TB stallion with dressage scores in the low 80’s. Bay with blanket and roaning. $3000 negotiable to a good show home.
Zippin Thru Moolah. 2006 ApHC mare. Red leopard pattern. OUt of an ApHC Superior event mare. Sale pending.
