Fun and Games
April 15, 2008

Hello again from “or-fun” land. I’m growing up very fast and having lots of fun now that I have a new momma and a big playground.
I have a new game that I like to play. It is called “Make A River.” It is so much ‘or-fun’ that I want to tell you how to play it so that you can play Make A River at your house and let your peoples laugh at you like Miss Pat does at me!
The first thing you has to do is get the big water box set up just right. You should play with the green water spitting snake a little bit to make sure that the water is spitting out of the mouth of it. It is good if you can get the green water snake to jump out of the box and lay on the ground because then you make a river faster than the regular old way. And it is fun to see Miss Pat’s reaction when she finds the snake on the ground instead of in the water box. I don’t think she knows it is me that makes the snake jump out of the box, so we should keep that part a secret, ok?

The next thing you has to do is put your nose into the top of the water and slosh and slosh until all the water goes over the side of the water box. Have lots of ‘or-fun’ with this part and get wet all over the everywhere.

If you do it just right, you make a river that you can stomp your hooves in and make a muddy mess all up your legs! See? I told you it was the funnest “or-fun” game of them all! Miss Pat says that when the weather days gets warm, that I will get a bath because I am a muddy little pig. I told her that I-am-not-a-pig-I-am-a-foal, and that I would not like to get a bath because even though I do not know what bath is, it does not sound like much ’or-fun’ the way she says it. So it cannot be anything good and I think I will do without it thank-you-very-much.

Oh my gosh. I have been so busy telling you how to play Make A River that I forgot the most important thing. Momma-Palida has done something magic. She makes REAL-DEAL MILK now! Is that amazing or what?
I asked her how she did it, and she said, “shhhh, it’s a magic secret.” But I think Miss Pat knows about it, because I saw her pinching Momma Palida’s udder and the Real-Deal Milk came out into her hand. Miss Pat smiled very big, and then she said something really soft to Momma-Palida where I could not hear her and then patted Momma-Palida on the neck. I asked Momma-Palida to tell me what Miss Pat said, but Momma-Palida told me, “Shhhh. It’s a secret between Mommas. You don’t need to know everything, you little pest.”
But I could tell that Momma-Palida was happy about what Miss Pat said to her. So I think it was maybe something like, “Good magic trick, Momma-Palida.”
